Cookie and Storage Policy.

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember things between page loads, like the fact that you are signed in. Browsers also provide local storage, which lasts until it is cleared, and session storage, which normally lasts for one browser tab. Some sites use these tools to profile people across the web. We do not.

These cookies are strictly necessary for Yenkoh to work, so they do not require consent under UK law:

• Authentication cookies (Supabase): cookies prefixed sb- hold your session tokens. They keep you signed in, identify you to the server on each request, and refresh your session securely. Supabase manages their expiry; signing out clears or invalidates the session.
• Draft cookie: if you start a sample trip plan before signing up, a cookie remembers your draft so you can pick it up later. It identifies the draft, not you, and lasts up to 90 days unless you clear it sooner.
• Theme cookie: remembers your light/dark appearance choice for this device, set from Account → Appearance. Lasts up to a year, or until you change it. If you never choose, no cookie is set and Yenkoh follows your device's system setting instead.
• Cookie-choice cookie (yenkoh_cookie_consent): records whether you accepted analytics and marketing storage so we can honour the same choice on later visits. It lasts up to 180 days.

Without these cookies you cannot sign in or use the app. They stay on because they are needed to provide the service you request.

The cookie banner lets you accept all optional categories, reject optional categories, or choose category-by-category. You can reopen those choices here at any time.

Analytics is optional. If you accept it, we use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and how fast they load. These tools are not used for cross-site advertising profiles.

• yenkoh_growth_anonymous_id is a random first-party identifier in local storage. It lets us count repeat visits without storing a name or email in the event.
• yenkoh_growth_session_id is a random first-party identifier in session storage. It groups events from the same browser-tab session.

Yenkoh's stored product-analytics events expire after 24 months. Turning Analytics off stops future optional analytics and removes both Yenkoh identifiers from this browser.

Marketing storage is optional and off by default. If you accept it, the first-party yenkoh_attribution cookie records campaign tags, the referring page, and the first Yenkoh page you visited. It helps us understand which of our own launch activity led to an application, waitlist join, or signup. It lasts up to 30 days. We do not use it for cross-site advertising.

Turning Marketing off removes the attribution cookie from this browser and stops future attribution collection.

We do not sell your browsing behaviour. We do not use optional cookies or browser storage until you accept the relevant category, and we do not load advertising pixels.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings: look for “Cookies and site data” in Chrome, “Enhanced Tracking Protection” in Firefox, or “Privacy” in Safari. Bear in mind that blocking the essential cookies above will sign you out and prevent the app from working. Most browsers also let you clear cookies and site data for a single site, including local and session storage. Clearing Yenkoh site data signs you out and removes device-level choices without affecting other sites.
